I took the picture on my way home past the Green Point Stadium, venue of the FIFA 2010 World Cup in Cape Town. It was was under construction then. I loved the rawness of this particular image and its nakedness.

In the 1990s he established Hull's first monthly listings magazine RADAR and also the city's first comedy club, The Three Legged Dog. Matt subsequently worked for nearly ten years as a full time feature writer and columnist for the Hull Daly Mail, before leaving to become editor of Hull City Council's free-to-every-home monthly magazine, Hull in print. Matt now works freelance as a journalist and film-maker, writing occasionally for the Guardian and the Big Issue, producing documentaries, and developing creative projects in schools in the UK and Sierra Leone.Flickr5
